Awaiting the resurrection

Hanging by your thumbs.  That's what an elderly lady I knew used to call it - waiting to hear about something big.  Today, Laura's tissue typing is supposed to be done.  Tom understands that  - he was a scientist - but I was an English major.  It has to do with cross matching.  When I tried to look up images of that, I got pictures of lovely crosses, jewelry.  In any case, it seems once we pass this, we'll know she's in, and then we'll be on our way.

My blogging has fallen off as I go around generally in a haze about this, also with pretty low kidney function, which is like your brain sitting in well, let's say dirty water.  Yet, today I could meditate.  My birthday is in September.  Maybe by then I'll have a new life. Meanwhile, I just wanted to check in.
